Role Overview

The Fab IT Solutions Manager will take on a high-impact leadership role overseeing IT solutions across the company's semiconductor fabrication facilities. This individual will be responsible for driving the digital transformation strategy, focusing on enhancing factory efficiency, data utilization, and manufacturing execution systems (MES). The company is looking for someone to help manage the journey towards a fully automated manufacturing process, leveraging the latest in AI/ML, automation, and data analytics.

This position will report directly to senior leadership and manage a team of 5 direct reports, overseeing a total of 100 employees. As part of the company's long-term strategy, the role will be integral in driving automation and optimizing operations across multiple fabs.

Key Responsibilities

• Digital Transformation Leadership : Develop and drive the technology platforms strategy for manufacturing, quality, and automation. Spearhead the rollout of digital transformation initiatives within semiconductor fabrication facilities.
• AI/ML and Automation Strategy : Evaluate, integrate, and advance AI/ML, automation, and MES solutions to improve factory operations and decision-making capabilities.
• Organizational Leadership : Lead and inspire multiple IT teams responsible for software development, MES modeling, tool automation, fault detection, statistical process control, and user interface design.
• Data Systems and IT Infrastructure : Oversee data security, IT infrastructure, and on-premise private cloud solutions to ensure the robustness of systems supporting fab operations.
• Cross-Departmental Collaboration : Partner with manufacturing leadership to ensure seamless integration of IT and manufacturing systems. Drive end-to-end digital transformation in semiconductor fabs, optimizing data collection and analytics-driven decision-making.
• Expansion and Growth : Support the expansion of new manufacturing facilities, including those launching in the near future, ensuring IT infrastructure and systems scale effectively.

Skills Required for Success

• Leadership : Proven experience leading large, multi-geographical IT teams (100-200 employees, with 5-6 direct reports).
• Industry Expertise : Strong background in manufacturing IT within semiconductor or large-scale industrial operations.
• Digital Transformation : Deep knowledge and hands-on experience in driving digital transformation, including factory automation and the implementation of advanced AI/ML solutions.
• Technical Proficiency : Expertise in Python, data systems engineering, automation technologies, and cloud security.
• Strategic Vision : Ability to influence key stakeholders, define technical roadmaps, and foster a culture of innovation, agility, and collaboration.
• Communication : Strong ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies for diverse teams and senior leadership.
